Yes Whitman did try to dabble in politics like Carly did. But she went back to Corporate America after she lost. Steve did not even try. And as for Carly, she is still into politics. And why not. She cannot go back to Corporate America because she got fired. Strange that one time Carly's "empty chair" got filled by Whitman. Stranger still that Whitman got beat by a retiring politician who even joked about his age during his debate with Whitman. People from Corporate America do not make good politicians, particularly CEOs.
