This is probably getting way off topic of value investing but I meant to say an we could handle inflation increasing 100 to 200 basis point or higher without run away inflation. So far the food price increase is the result of price shock with the drought this past summer and higher gas prices earlier this year rather than qe3. I definitely don't agree that we face structural unemployment. IMO we could put a dent in unemployment if we hired back all the teachers, firefighters, & police that were laid-off during the recession.
