No, I'm not religious, but I do believe in God. And I do agree that the GOP Evangelicals are among the most hypocritical people on earth. Really turns me off. And yes, I do want to get rid of the welfare industrial complex. It's corrupting, just as is the military industrial complex. I think we need to study Denmark and see what they are doing right when it comes to health care and social security. Our system sux and is unsustainable. We need a safety net. I agree and will pay my fair share of taxes for it. However, I don't want a massive government interference in people's lives. That's not what this country is about. Already, both Bush Junior and Obama have used our Constitution for toilet paper with the FISA laws, the Patriot Act, the torturing of people, Guantanamo, Homeland Security and all their violations of our rights, and all the other egregious violations of human right, suspension of habeus corpus, and on and on. I don't even recognize this country anymore. These are all destruction of our freedoms and the beginnings of the infrastructure for despotism. I know none of you believe that can happen here, but it can. We should all be very jealous of our freedoms and not let our government take an inch.
