There are plenty of White leftists there for the savages to cannibalize, so no food problems to speak of. This is especially true since the menu items are more than willing to be served. -ng-

My daughter lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and shops the Trader Joe's at 72d and Broadway. Said they are constantly stocking, but lines are long. She, like others, stocked up Fri and Sat, so she anticipates no problem. Can't go to work as her office is below 34th St and Power is out!

BTW, for those that don't know, NYC especially Manhattan abd much of Brooklynn do NOT have large supermarkets as most of the rest of us have. They depend on a lot of small supermarkets (about 1/2 the size of a Giant or Safeway here), like Fairway, and a ton of Bodega style FoodXStores/Deli's. So the base stockage is less and widely dispersed. Makes things dicier in a disaster!

She's been thru 9/11, storms and Sandy. No longer phased by such things. Jaded New Yorker!! But NY'ers have a spirit and determination that is unique!!
