The Surface has taken over the cover of the New York Times today.

Note that nowhere do they make fun of the competition's numerous flaws, throw up a dorky looking fanboy to represent the competition, or mention any of the many 'gates'. That sort of advertising is Apple's bag. Perhaps someday Apple will realize why this sort of thing was a mistake, and may have genuinely engendered some long term ill will towards them.

Two iPhone 5 models were approved to run on China’s mobile networks, according to CNet, who cited comments from Chinese blog Sina Tech. The A 1429 model reportedly supports China Unicom’s ( NYSE:CHU) 3G network and China Mobile’s ( NYSE:CHL) 2G network, and the A1442 is compatible with China Telecom’s ( NYSE:CHA) CDMA network.
