First of all, "Carter lost Iran as an ally". ????

What was Carter supposed to do? Should he have sent in troops to prop up the Shah?

And you're saying that Obama "destabilized" the Middle East? REALLY??? What was Obama supposed to do, send in ground troops to Tunisia and Egypt?

Bush Jr. is the guy that caused all the instability in the Middle East. He turned a Sunni dominated country in Iraq into a Shiite country. That gave Iran an ally in Iraq rather than an enemy and that gave them a free hand to cause instability through their networks.

Bush JR. was was the WORST foreign policy president in my lifetime.

And if you believe otherwise, Peter, you are simply naive.
