Obama picked Biden as VP and Tim Geithner as Treasury Secretary. His closest advisor is Valerie Jarrett. His green energy 'investments' have been disastrous. His Jobs Council hasn't met since January ... apparently he didn't realize it would be smart to LOOK LIKE he cared about jobs in an election year with a lousy economy.

So, what has FEMA done in the first 48 hours? Answer: Far less than it did during Katrina.

FEMA's role at this point is limited to committing money to the operation and injection of the Coast Guard where necessary. Of course, by this time in the Katrina events, the CG was hacking people out of attics and plucking them from rooftops, by the 100s.

The scope of Sandy is big. But the seriousness of it is minuscule compared with Katrina. Because it is a flood, circumstances are difficult, but scarcely life threatening -- specifically because the local officials reacted correctly versus the idiots in Louisiana.

I'm going to give you the advantage of an open-ended question, where you lay bullshit out there. But, what exactly has FEMA done at this time in the disaster that they hadn't done during Katrina?
