Well, there are 2 issues under discussion: 1) is the Mini going to sell well at that price, and 2) where are those sales coming from.

Question 1 looks to be a definite yes, question 2 remains to be speculated on.

I think it's likely that Apple will have record breaking iPad shipments and revenue this quarter, and whether that is in spite of, or because of, the mini launch, we won't really know. It's going to be impossible to know how many full sized iPads Apple would have sold if the mini did not exist.
