My understanding is FEMA has about 2200 personnel in the entire deal, the vast majority of whom are engaged in administration. I know the CG is under FEMA's direction, but that's obviously a far smaller effort than was required after Katrina.

I can't find any evidence that "FEMA Crews" are doing much at all. And in fact, that is as it should be -- on a short-term basis it is ALWAYS local people -- "first responders".

Except during Katrina, of course, when you and other leftwingers claimed FEMA was responsible for the first response.

Hypocrites.
