I understand the point you are trying to make, but let me correct your accounting. The 10QSB for the quarter ending 9/30/97 states (page 11):

During the quarter ended Stptember 30, 1997, the Comapny capitalized $663,000 of software and product development costs, primarily for its Plant Y2KOne-TM- suite of products. The CD ROM version of the Plant Y2KOne-TM- product has been developed and is actively being marketed.

Your point is valid, however, since TPRO sacrificed the fee earning services of 15 engineers and thus hurt the balance sheet during the 1Q98 in order to make this investment. The balance sheet will improve dramatically as the CD investment earns a significant return.
