You disproved your claim yourself when you said Blix wanted more time and said some weapons were unaccounted for, and again when he said that the US expected to find WMD's. Example: Blix confirmed the US expected to find WMD's. If they knew in advance they weren't there, they wouldn't have had that expectation. Thus disproving your point.
