I heard people were complaining about the missing "start" button. Since there is no such thing as a Stop button on Windows, I'll have to assume that he was dissing the start menu. Most IT guys are a bunch of whiners. They need to make things seem very complicated so they can keep their jobs. However, the Start button is still there on the Desktop. I might use the Start menu a couple times a year to uninstall a program from the control panel.. Otherwise it's completely useless.

Start8 brings back the familiar start button to make your transition to Windows 8 a little bit easier. The first thing you'll notice when firing up your new Windows 8 PC is the lack of a Start button. For design reasons, Microsoft has removed the old Start menu in favor of the new Metro Start screen. Start8 aims to bring it back and help you make your move to the new Windows without compromising productivity.
