"it will cost obama votes" You have an odd perspective. Both candidates have begged for the support of a big name Independent such as Bloomberg. It is true that NY is sewed up but undecided across the U.S. will be inclined to be influenced towards Obama through Bloomberg's endorsement. I understand it has the opposite effect on you and others of your persuasion, but that is because you are entrenched in your polarised views. People with open minds do not automatically suspect insincerity when leaders put their political future on the line by taking an unequivocal stance on key matters. Even if you are perceptive in seeing a political motive here from a besieged official in an Obama State looking to kill two birds with one stone...it is still mere suspicion and will not be the primary interpretation of most who feel the suffering of their fellow Americans due to deranged weather and who see a Mayor apparently putting politics to the side to embrace a greater value and a human need. That is what most will see here and that is why Romney is all but finished...
