There are many things I like about Obama and you've listed a good deal of them. However, let me zoom out a bit. This country is controlled by bankers. These bankers are extremely corrupt. They are in collusion with the Federal Reserve. Bernanke, chief among them, is not acting in the long term best interests of the 99% in this country. I have enumerated my conclusions on Bernanke on these threads many times before. I've also pointed out the flaws in Keynesiansim. So I won't go through all that again, but suffice it to say that the ideology of deficit spending and printing money may certainly create short term recovery episodes, but they are guaranteed to destroy the foundation of economic prosperity over the medium and long term.

Obama is a Bernanke and Keynesian fan. He will reappoint Bernanke or someone like him. Romney and Ryan will get rid of Bernanke and appoint Taylor or someone else a lot like Volcker. These macro issues are far more important than all of the myriad micro issues that most people discuss. If we get the macro solutions wrong, then it doesn't matter what we do with the micro, since all micro solutions are doomed to failure in the face of major macro blunders.

That is why I voted for Romney. The good of getting rid of Bernanke and putting a lid on Keynesianism far outweighs the things that Romney may do that I don't like.
