Ike, Good to see you back, in good spirits and hopefully well rested. I have the highest confidence in the recuperability of the thread. Without you around even your detractors have no need to post (no fruit to knock off the trees I suppose).

I took a small position in ATML today. Still looks horrible technically and a large percentage of sales are to Asia (mostly for assembly and subsequent export to Europe/ North America). It wouldn't break my heart if I had to add to my position under 20.

Best Regards,
Garry

Ike,
RE: <Less than 100 posts in a week>

You must consider the week. America gained a collective 800,000,000 pounds since last Wednesday. As for the decline in posts, the following may help explain:

Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, amino acids are building blocks of protein. It is present in large concentrations in meat and fish protein. The estimated tryptophan requirement for adults is 3.5 mg/kilogram of body weight. Therefore, a 150-pound person's estimated requirement is 239mg (150 lb ö 2.2 lb/kg x 3.5 mg/kg = 239 mg).

3 1/2 ounces of Roasted Turkey contains 340mg of tryptophan. Compare that to, for example, a medium banana which contains 14mg.

When tryptophan enters the brain, it is converted to serotonin, a neurotransmitter that enables nerve cells to communicate to help regulate sleep, pain, appetite and mood. A high protein meal won't increase serotonin production because the other amino acids compete with tryptophan to get into the brain. But a high carbohydrate meal causes the release of insulin, which lowers blood levels of all amino acids except tryptophan. The relatively higher level of tryptophan can lead to more serotonin production and may promote sleepiness.

So, I surmise that a collective sleep has befallen the thread due to the high intake of turkey over the last several days thus decreasing the amount of posts.

Ike-good to see your posts. Was starting to get a little lonely
around here. Started toying with TA. Broker put SEG on the radar
screen last wk. Stochastics suggested that Tues(11/25) close was a
buy, so picked up 1K Wednesday.

A couple reasons I post less on this thread are that there are less interesting and thought-provoking posts now-a-days. It isn't that people changed, it's that there are less posts. Non-activity feeds on itself. Another thing, Ike, is that I find your posts less helpful lately. Before it seems I got an objective view of the markets. But the past few weeks I see "blind bullness", a kind of "buy everything" stance, and paragraphs bashing bears for little aparent reason. This is not to say that I don't still appreciate your help and ideas.

Gaston
