Any governor in MA will always balance the budget because that is required by its constitution. So, no brainer in there. Running a business is quite different from running a country. The objective of business is to make profit while the purpose of a government is to serve the people so that they have all the good things - and I won't bore you with all that. There is do doubt that Romney will use his presidency to fatten his and his children and grandchildren pockets. Look what he has done for his children. To Nixon's credit, his daughters did not take advantage of their dad's position. Billy tried to get that from his brother Jimmy, but Billy beer was not a success. Obama's daughter are too young to profit from their dad.

"Romney presided over a balanced budget as Governor. So when he says he can work to balance the Federal budget, I believe he is better equipped than Obama." It has been very well documented that the balanced budget was a result of policies implemented before Romney was elected. It was despite Romney not because of Romney. Why do you continue to ignore the progress Obama has made with the deficit. It is less than when he took office and has gone down every year he's been there. You are making things up,again. So tell me and answer the main question, given all of your economic classes. What should Obama have done instead of what he did with no other area spending? You can't tell me because there was no other choice. And by the way, every area of the economy has improved including housing, which most experts agree is the piece that needed to level before a true recovery can begin. So, you can blow as much as you like about Obama and Bernanke but the fact remains that their policies worked. Period.
