It is crystal clear at this point, to my deep disappointment that O is going to win. Romney is just not able to get enough traction. He lost the election even before he got the nomination. I think that NYT screwed him a long time ago with the headline they put for his op-ed. And then a vicious ad campaign never allowed anyone to give him a fair shot.

I don't know who's going to win, but what the markets are signaling is this:

The election does not matter. The POTUS is basically a ceremonial post with little if any power to do economic good (harm is completely another matter).

One more week of feeding the bears and we may have to trot out the central bankers for one more round of competitive devaluation.
