Al, just because Pelosi wins elections by absurd margins doesn't mean the vast majority of the residents are fond of her. Many of her opponents probably don't even come out to vote.

There's also something slimy about a politician who spends most of her time in Washington and just shows up when "her" baseball team wins the World Series. Local politicians who actually care about the city would be more welcome. Such as Mayor Ed Lee or even former mayor Gavin Newsom, both of whom were also in the parade.

Of course, most of those who booed her probably weren't SF residents, but instead came in from surrounding Bay Area cities like San Mateo or Pleasanton. After all, Giants fever extends well past the boundaries of Pelosi's own district.
