Scandinavian countries have a lot of freedoms that are not consistent with socialism. Freedoms in the way of business and trade are common, as well as in investments and property rights. Each country has its own parameters, but you can't just claim that these countries are closer to being socialist (on the basis, I assume, of tax rates and particular individual domestic policies) without considering other areas where they tend more toward freedom than other countries.

A strong argument can be made that with respect to business some of these countries are less intrusive than the US.

The point is you have grossly over simplified a complicated subject. Which isn't surprising. That is typical for you.
