Too late to worry, I'm out of there. But I do have to say the punky gal next to me - Anna - is super sexy. And smart. And really knows her photography, as well as art history and humanities. Wish every young panelist were as sharp, educated and present as she was. Extremely inspiring and gave me a lot of hope for the generation of dreamers behind me! Overall, the only downer of the experience for me was the palpable lack of truly worthy work to fund. None of the proposals I judged inspired me to dig deeper. Perhaps all the inspiring work was judged by group 1, which dealt with the other half of the applications, none of which I saw. To be honest, if I could have, I'd have given all the money to my gal, whose proposal was by far the best, and should be used as an example for prospective applicants, which I suggested when the process was over and our input for future improvement was sought. Unfortunately, I had to leave the room when her proposal came up, for obvious conflict of interest reasons. :-(((
