You don't get a pass on behavior that you would otherwise condemn just because you're on a political thread.

Of course you do. There is a significant difference between saying something to your spouse, your friends or a small circle of people like on this thread and saying it front of millions on national teevee. To not know the difference suggests a type of sociopath. And we are talking about the president of the US; not Kim Kardashian. Until the past 4 years, that office has been accorded a modicum of respect. No longer.

It's not just because it makes you a hypocrite. It's because if you want to see change in the world, you have to start with yourself.

Don't be silly. People will always opinions about others. Some are rooted in fact; some in bias. Calling Obama a retard is a biased response by Coulter. Calling GW Bush an idiot is rooted in fact.
