It does not seem that dan6 produces much free stuff for other people. But he's quite interested in Utopian free doctors, free supermarkets, free car factories, free roads and free all mod cons and none of that money stuff. <i accomplished this by living very modestly, inheriting a small amount of money, and being fortunate enough to buy a house deep in a recession > I wonder if he gets paid money from the government aka taxpayers since he is below the poverty line. That seems almost certain.

Trustafarians can rest on the efforts of their ancestors for a while. But it's not sustainable. "Inheriting a small amount of money" and buying a house while not working seems a pretty cushy number to me, who worked day and night to accumulate capital, from when I was a 12 year old and inherited a small amount of money when I was so old it was irrelevant.
