Certainly, that is easy enough. The targetable audience of the WinRT runtime will exceed that of the all iPad variants combined before the end of 2013. Now let me ask you a question: What is the minimum amount of time you see before Apple introduces a new operating system incompatible with legacy iOS or OS X applications, and makes clear one of those platforms is no longer going to be updated going forward?

Since we're trading Apple stories at the moment, I have one for the board. Yesterday I went to a belated halloween/birthday party. One of the participants was turning 12 years old today and at the end of the night counted her birthday money which amount to $105. When one of her aunts said to her that that money should help with Christmas presents, the young girl said, "nope, I am saving up for an iPhone!" When I asked her why - like a dope, of course, she said all her friends already have one. td
