Fortunately, there is a natural world and concrete walls which help in determining exactly who is delusional and who is not: <those people believe that it's not them that are delusional but the others. They believe their delusions are perfectly rational. It's hard to figure who are the truly deluded. >

For example, those who thought it delusional that Greece could go on a vast borrow and hope binge and come out with a good outcome are finding they were right and the others are bumping up against reality.

Successful investors are either lucky or better than others at detecting delusion. When my investments go bad, I blame me, not the company. My job as an investor, among others, is to figure out who is delusional, dishonest, ignorant, has bad ideas etc.
