Voting should be easy. It is an absolute outrage that people in Florida are waiting 9 hours to vote.

I don't ever recall this being a problem before. It wouldn't surprise me if these are groups of people illegally daisy-chain voting in multiple districts for the same moron president. It likely even includes leftist groups, unions, etc., purposely jamming these polling stations to claim disenfranchisement and create lawsuits. You Cloward and Piven disciples can be expected to pull crap like this. As proven over the last four years, you guys have no morals and no scruples - so screw you guys.

If you can't vote on the first Tuesday of any given November, too bad. I've never missed a single one and never took any time off work to vote, either.

Bombshell: Obama Created Subprime Loans As Lawyer

Monday, September 3, 2012 -
Capitalism Institute by Shaun Connell
communities.washingtontimes.com

WASHINGTON, September 3, 2012 — Barack Obama has made his fundamental campaign strategy the blaming of other people. Bush, Greenspan, Reagan — he's tied Republicans into every aspect of the economy being broken. And, of course, he'd be right about most of that. Bush and Greenspan both created easy credit, big spending, and unsustainable policies that have hurt our economy.

But now, Obama's going to have some explaining to do about his own actions before he was president. A bombshell new story at The Daily Caller reports that Barack Obama used his status as a legal hired gun to sue Citibank to force them to give loans to poor minorities in Chicago.

In other words, he sued a bank into creating subprime mortgages.

Why did Citibank have to be forced into granting those loans? Because they weren't profitable — they were going to end in foreclosure. Subprime loans almost ended the financial system as we know it in 2008, after fueling a mortgage bubble that exploded with devastating effect on the economy. Obama was right there in the thick of it, helping to create the problem and undermine capitalism.

Half of his clients went bankrupt.

The community organizer knows essentially nothing about economics, as he's shown over the last several years. Most of his political capital has been spent on programs that will increase regulations, costs, and deficits. The last thing we need is to be forced into doing what Obama wants us to do.

And we can see evidence first hand of what happens when Obama is involved in your personal financial choices: You'll probably go bankrupt.

Only 19 of Obama's 186 still have clean credit. The rest have missed payments or have been foreclosed on. Almost half ended up losing their houses.

Obama used government and legal coercion to subvert markets; he forced banks to give out loans that almost took out the United States economy 2008. Obama's leftist ideas are one reason we got into this mess in the first place.

Why forced loans don't work

You can't legislate the laws of economics away. You can't distort prices with price controls without distorting supply and demand. Prices are a crucial element of the market economy. They tell us where resources are most valued, sending vital information to producers and consumers. Distort that information and we get the wrong goods produced, the wrong services provided. That's how we got a huge overhang of subprime mortgages.

The government — via people like Obama — used laws to force banks to make a bad decisions, and then reacted in horror when those banks began to stumble. Obama's ideas almost destroyed America, and now he's claiming he's the lone candidate who can save us from that same destruction. This is insanity.

Harry Browne, a former libertarian presidential candidate, once said: "Government is good at one thing: It knows how to break your legs, hand you a crutch, and say, 'See, if it weren't for the government, you wouldn't be able to walk."'

Kenneth, did you see on NGC TV tonight the "Raid on Bin Laden." It was a good two hour movie how the Seals and CIA with the approval of Obama went in and captured Bin Laden.

Bet tomorrow, Limbaugh, Hannity, and other right wing talk host state that it was timed to re-elect Obama.:)

If it was, it was an excellent move.

It is an absolute outrage that people....

As I was thinking about the plight of storm-stricken people in New York and New Jersey it brought to mind another storm that created another outrage in your mind. Here's a quote from a September 2005 article you posted about Hurricane Katrina. Note how much blame George W. Bush is given for the plight of Katrina victims.

Americans need to understand that the reason we were unprepared for Hurricane KATRINA is the same reason we were unprepared for the attacks of 9/11: this worse-than-useless quasi-occupant of the Oval Office was extending yet further his record for most vacation time taken by an American president, and ignoring imminent crises.

Americans need to understand that KATRINA victims could not get supplies for days on end for the same reason that soldiers in Iraq still don't have adequate armor: this president, who gets almost everything he wants, couldn't be bothered to want these things.

Americans need to understand that FEMA is inept for the same reason that the national treasury is hemorrhaging a sea of red ink: because they've chosen a president who views the federal government as a personal playground for cronyism and looting.

As I watch video of the people in New York and New Jersey who've lost their homes or have no electricity or fuel, would it not be fair to say, as the quote above demonstrates, that Barack Obama is complicit in the non-preparedness for the Sandy crisis? Perhaps "Americans need to understand" that turnabout is fair play when you want to blame presidents for poor responses to natural disasters. Just insert "Sandy" for "Katrina" and "campaigning" for "vacation" above and you're all set.

If Bush was to blame for the same kind of crisis in Katrina, let's hear you lefties blame Obama for the current one. Where's your outrage for victims today when the same "logic" applies?

Just sayin'.
