That's not what I am hearing from my daughter, her roomie and another friend who all live in the lower East Village...my best friend's sister on Staten Island also has nothing good to say....I think you're full of it....

This is the worst widespread disaster this city has ever seen and it's being handled just fine.

Do you know how this compares against Hurricane Katrina? I sure don't, except that the death toll from Katrina was above 1,000.

In comparison, Sandy should have been a cakewalk for FEMA, especially with the memory of Katrina and all the time they had to prepare.
