No doubt this game is a B (read: beat) grade title that would have ended up in the value bin in short order.
Incidently there are many titles that sell well outside the U.S. but never take off here. The reverse of this is evidenced in EIDSY's (EIDOS Interactive) quarterly report. They said they suffered a large loss on a European distribution deal for the Blood & Shadow Warrior titles which never paid off due to less than expected sales of the titles.
