Personally overheard in the Apple store today... I highly doubt that. Like a vampire in sunlight, I'm pretty sure you'd burst into flames if you ever set foot in an Apple Store. :-)

Zax, isn't that keyboard/pointing device/cover thing the big draw with the Surface? It's what Microsoft emphasizes. Can't really have the full Surface experience without it, right? You yourself have said that nobody could possibly be productive on a tablet that lacks a full keyboard and pointing device. And you can't get the Surface with that keyboard for less than $599, can you? Isn't that what it costs for the bundle? So I'm just saying that $599 is what the Surface really costs. Oh, and please leave the puerile multicolor mockery where it belongs. Thanks in advance.
