Nothing debunked. I have a friend that is supervising one of the crews in NJ and confirmed it happened, and he was outraged. He said they damned sure needed the help and shouldn't have been turned away (he is also an IBEW member). It is a perfect example of how unions hurt consumers AND workers, unless one happens to be a union worker. These kinds of unions (they aren't all like that) are scourges and must be killed off whenever possible. I don't know what the policy is but my friend confirmed that he was aware this had occurred.
