I agree. Analysts currently have Intel's EPS growth at 12% for 1998 vs. 32% (est.) for 1997, 44% for '96 and 54% for 95. To my knowledge the 12% growth isn't based on any guidance from Intel, is well below PC growth estimates and Intel's momentum, and is therefore suspect.

IF (big IF) Intel's stock price is based on analysts projections then there is the potential for earnings revisions and stock price upside when Intel gives '98 guidance after it's 4th quarter earnings release.

BTW, WHERE IS PAUL E.? Hope the cyber police didn't get him.

If the year-end rally goes on for a while, Kurlak will have to upgrade so he doesn't get left behind, and we'll all go for a nice ride.!
