The election of the President is put into the House of Representatives. But it isn't each Congressman who gets a vote; it is each state. So each state delegation gets together, and collectively they vote on who they want to be President. Then the House as a whole comes together, and each state casts their vote.

No Congressman is going to be bucking their party on this, if that is what this election comes to. I guarantee it.
