Same here in NY. Saw a couple of Romney super pac ads yesterday for the first time all election season. No hope of winning here as well.

Ditto in New Jersey. Our provider is Verizon and it looked as if it was coming via their NJ stuff rather than as a part of the national campaign.

Maybe they had some money left over and they just felt like tossing it in to the wind.

Or they think they can reduce the popular vote by a little. This close to the election I don't see that happening but we'll see.

They have more money than they can use. And, as someone noted, the guys who are spending it get a cut of everything they spend. They will give as little of it back as they can. So they spend it everywhere and anywhere. Even if it makes no sense politically. They are going to have to answer to their donors anyway when they lose after getting all of this money, so they may as well cash in as much as they can while they can.
