Not really.... you can get hundreds of thousands from the NYC site itself. And when I went back to check my math - it is closer to 250,000 rather than a half a million. There are about 2,000 of them of my own - for example, I have 535 recipes I use to feed the needy at church when that soup kitchen project is active.

What is really neat is the search capability - for example - in searching the entire database for "chili chile chilli chille" (any of those words all at once) I get 6,148 recipes. And if I search just for "chili" I get 5,013. And if I search an individual cookbook called NEWONES (New Ones) for chili I get 2,285.

Unfortunately, there are many duplicates - possibly as high as 10% or more but I am reluctant to use the auto dupe elimination feature as some are different versions of the same recipe or even the same recipe with additional information in it... so it can be "dangerous" to blindly delete recipes with duplicate names.

What also is cool out on the web is a location in which you key in leftovers and it will suggest recipes for using them up. kraftrecipes.com

It's on the left side near the top and you just key in your leftover(s).

I tried keying in "chili" as the ingredient and got 218 recipes from salads to soups to chili-mac etc etc etc:

There are loads of great places on the web that can make meal preparation a cinch!
