I could have sworn that I read in one of the press releases that the new Diamond SuperSonic II dual-analog employed 56K support, and somehow doubled that speed to 128K with existing telco technology? The only drawback (but not from our point of view!) being that the ISP providing the 56K support must have ASND equipment. Please correct me if I am mistaken. - style pts. you are correct. also there are competing products to diamond (shotgun) which will become availalble early 1988. coms has officeconnect remote dual analog router, which is suppose to be out about now if not already out. boca research had dynamicduo due december. multi-tech systems has commplete communication server and is shipping now. personally diamond has the best name for their product, shotgun, with boca a close second.
