ATT is the only carriers that's had the iPhone long enough to create a replacement demand for the iPhone. Next year, VZ and Sprint will have a lot more handsets up for new contracts. Of the 4 iPhones I have, at least 3 will go back to new iPhones. Personally, I'll be waiting around for a new WP8 phone. I love Windows 8 now that everything is working. There is absolutely no reason for me to use an iPhone with Winodws 8. Again, the biggest problem with the new phone launch is that MSFT doesn't have a WP8 phone for Sprint. May not make much of a difference since so many people are locked into iPhone contracts til next summer.
