LOL. I think if you have access to a $5000 solder reflow workstation you might upgrade the flash in your 16GB iPad (if the software allowed it) to 64GB. Check Anet or Arrow for a catchy part name, like "TH58NVG6S2FTA20". It would certainly break the warranty and void your Applecare, if you had paid the additional $99 for that, too.

Otherwise you must submit to whatever price Apple is charging at the time for a complete replacement device, that had a larger amount of CF soldered onto the motherboard, and no standards-based expansion slot on the device.

Charging $200 for 48GB of memory expansion, absolute limit, no slot available to expand it yourself. What's your word for this?
