Frank:

>This "smart" guy sounds very similar to a Frederick Smart that used to post on Prodigy. He was great at Monday morning quarterbacking and as I vaguely recall not so great at prognosticating. Eventually he was he was attempting to solicit for a newsletter he was generating. If this isn't him then great but "caveat emptor" to everyone just the same!>

Frank: If you know anyone who's a Prodigy subscriber, I'd appreciate a copy of anything with my name on it. There aren't too many Frederick Smarts in this world. Me, my son - the 4th - and my late Father, Jr. who died last year. If it makes any difference, my middle initial is "K".

Cripes, perhaps the old man was a closet guru. I know my grandfather couldn't be involved since he died in '39 - he was a NYSE member with his Dad and brother, worth millions, but lost everything in the crash. My Dad's mother warned him against ever getting a job on Wall Street.

As for me, I work in the industry, but have never been a Prodigy subscriber. I've been on AOL since the beginning - and was with Netcome and then UNNet before AOL got on the Web.

Drop me a line. We live in a small world. Good luck!
