I see it as the job of the POTUS to facilitate both leaders in the Congress to resolve their differences for the betterment of the nation.

Reid has already announced he will not work with Romney should he win the office.

Re the Senate telling them to get real... The process is to send the bill or budget back with changes in order to begin the process of compromise... That is real ... compared to pointless verbiage. Had Reid done that then you would have a valid point IMO.

Obama failed to perform even the most basic role required of the office.... In fact he made the divide even greater by openly denigrating any that dared to oppose his parties pov.
