Sonki:

Thanks for the post. I never quite know how to interpret volume. I see a lot of panic selling in this volume. That it did not rally yesterday indicates to me some fear that WLA will withdraw the drug from the market. I have thought about this over night and while this is a possibility, I do not believe that they will do this right away. This drug was approved by the FDA with the knowledge of its possible side effects on the liver. Moreover, from what has been reported, if properly monitored, when liver toxity appears to be a problem, treatment can be stopped and the patient recovers. As with much of medicine, it is see what works and go on from there in terms of treatment. Unless the FDA pressures them to withdraw the drug, I do not see it at this time. On the TA side, about which I know very little, it appears that WLA broke through all levels and its next resistance is around 100-105. Look at the long term chart.

I am going to wait and see what happens. In particular, I will be looking at the volume. When it bases, which could be today or tomorrow, or next week, I will be tempted to buy more. If one is a greater risk taker, then now would be time to get in. I did look at the spread on the bid and ask for the options and LEAPS and they were more than a point yesterday and some of the premiums were lofty as well.
