Hello Thomas, Yes, I am in Australia and I know BHP reasonably well. I worked for them briefly in the early 1960s as a trainee metallurgist and I lost a lot of money on them a few months ago (so you can see that I am no expert in predicting this stock!). I will post some useful sites for you. HotCopper is good for general information, but rarely does BHP get a mention because most of the talk is in the smaller resource stocks. There has been a lot of criticism recently in the media about the management of BHP. John Prescot is mentioned a lot, and so is Jerry Ellis (supposedly the director responsible for BHP buying Magma Copper). I will post some recent press stories on this topic.

Market sentiment in respect of BHP is fairly negative at present, but history has shown that this can change overnight.
