Probably. I had no clue about races - except from books - or racism until I was moved from Sweden to Denmark at age 12 and a couple of Swede hating kids try to bully me - to no avail, because fortunately I was both bigger and smarter than any of those Swede bashing 'racists' :)

Growing up the only 'races' I knew were Danes, Norwegians and one Finnish woman, all of them our house maids at one time. Both my parents had a full time job with my mother being a pharmacist. And those maids were all great people.
