Whether it is deserved or not, Christie is done as far as national GOP candidate.

Which is in some way bad, because GOP needs candidates who can win in the North East.

I agree with you that Sandy was the October Surprise that put Obama over the top. It was close up to then. Christie certainly helped Obama theater show him pretending to care. Even if Obama had to wonder the shorelines of Eastern states by himself he would have looked more Presidential than he had in four years.

If Romney had run a better campaign he could have won. We are now stuck with four more years of economic downturn.
