The demographics have changed so much plus Mr. Obama getting 93% of the Black vote by default made it tough on Mr. Romney. Country has changed and looks like no going back.

I will be reading plenty of history books (avoiding politics) the next 3-4 years and doing whatever I can to stay healthy and not dependent on Obamacare

Sounds like a good plan.

Everything is correctable - until irreversible damage takes place.. In the larger scheme of things the number one potential problem, which will be worsened by the outcome of our elections, is that Iran is likely to become a nuclear power. That would trigger a nuclear race in the craziest region of the world. Eventually, someone will use nukes against Israel. The Israelis will respond very vigorously - with hostilities, combined, possibly destroy access to ME oil. That, in turn, would most likely trigger a huge global depression, and probably more wars. You can't feed 7 billion large mammals without enough oil to power modern technology. Loss of life may dwarf that of all previous wars put together.

That's my nightmare scenario. Dumb policies by Western powers are making it more likely.

That said, I'm also planning to do a lot of reading. Also, my fishing is not as good as it should be... will have to work on it more.
