Good for the States. They should work the living shit out of those guys, every day they are locked up. Go back to the chain gang days, and make them grow their own vegetables and raise their own livestock, to furnish prisoner food. The SOBs will think twice before they do something to risk going back, I assure you. The way it is now, anytime they find themselves in a difficult place, they just commit another crime and get their free room and board - three hots and a cot. They view it as security and refuge. A prison should not be viewed as a refuge. We should not be paying for their total upkeep - they should provide as much of that as they can. If it means working and cleaning up our roadsides of trash and using weed-eaters to keep it mowed, then that is what they should be doing.
