It is the growing number of dependents on government - many of which pay a lot of income tax but are fully vested in big government. i really don't think we are in any disagreement here....no question that in this era of cronyism, corporate welfare, there are plenty of taxpayers who derive their wealth from being politically connected....and there are the lower wage earners who pay no income tax who are just struggling to find ways of staying above water...like biden said, the middle class has been decimated the last 4 years
