In 2008 Palin and McCain brought out the evangelicals, they stayed home this time
But the evangelicals did turn out in mass to elect their two Senate candidates Richard Mourdock and Todd Akin.

Oh wait, that didn't happen either.

Palin and McCain being a war hero, that brought out the evangelicals, they stayed home this time

I was always under the impression that Evangelicals did NOT show up for McCain.

Some 17 million Evangelicals failed to vote in 2008 when Democrat Barack Obama beat the GOP's John McCain — and now the fight is on to get them there this November, Faith and Freedom Coalition founder Ralph Reed says.
