" Have you noticed how much the right hates higher education?"

they don't hate higher education, they hate the bullshit courses and the propaganda in those course, like psych, english, history.

everyone I know on the right is sending their kids to college but they are making them take engineering, business, medicine and they are watching what schools the go to

Having a problem with higher educational institutions is hardly a war on science. And criticism of such institutions is not limited to the right.

Your post is a just a number of unrelated anecdotes, connected by a pre-conceived agenda.

Pretty much sums up what "science" has degenerated into in number of different areas of science.

That is total indoctrinated BS.

I had this argument with a lib a couple of weeks ago, only the issue was abortion. He doesn't like republicans because "they're against abortion." I told him republicans have stopped fighting that battle and accepted Roe v Wade. I told him what they object to is paying for them. And guess what............he didn't like that either. He found something else to whine about and reject republicans and conservatism.

You can't have a cogent argument if you don't understand the subject.

Republicans love education, they just don't like the current form of higher education that is being taught mostly by marxist/socialist educators. They also love science. My husband is a dedicated conservative and has a degree in science. This notion that republicans hate science is another propaganda win for liberals, and you have been duped.

You haven't noticed the difference between higher education and higher indoctrination.

Higher education is truly classically liberal - it considers all aspects of all subjects without denigration and allows the students to come to their own conclusions.

Higher indoctrination is the state of "education" today - it emphasizes narrow views of subjects and when it feigns "liberal" consideration, it slants and slanders that which it considers not politically correct. Students who don't swallow unquestioningly are ridiculed and get bad grades. So much for "education." "Jawohl Herr Kommandant! I know nothing!"
