Very, very hard for me to believe that Romney got fewer votes than McCain. Many republicans crossed over to vote for "hope and change" in 08 and I would think they either sit out or vote for Romney. Evangelicals? hard to see them sitting idly by with the attack on religion. My mother was in church (Catholic) all day praying for Romney (she voted). She was more politically energized (at 82) than I have ever seen her. Even if the Tea Party felt abandoned by Romney / Republicans and considering what the Tea Party movement supposedly stands for, I at least see them voting against bo.

With all the anecdotal stories of greater turnout in conservative strongholds, I am scratching my head...
