But you can make predictions based on the theory it is round, and they work. That becomes the proof of its correctness. Also, the theory doesn't (unpredictably) sometimes work and sometimes not.

Absolutely. And what humans think about the various factors keeps changing. Something considered of great importance today may not matter tomorrow.

Post 'em. I'll watch for them. Also, how about giving the reasons for your conclusions. Then we can see if in other situations the same reasoning does or doesn't work.
