Seriously, the party is in trouble if it doesn't become more liberal on social issues. There is a difference between being socially liberal and traditionalist libertarian. Look at Ron Paul. He is a traditionalist, social conservative, but being libertarian, he does not want to use government / laws to enforce social conservative issues. IMO, that would be a winning formula for GOP.
